The Hunter Barn is a full-service professional organization
offering some of the highest quality equine services available in the marketplace
today. With over 20 years training, riding, and educational experience, the proprietor,
Michell Anne Hunter, and her staff endeavor to provide their
clients with the fundamental knowledge that is necessary to create and enjoy a healthy
and long-lasting equine relationship.
Since riding and training horses in
inherently dangerous, emphasis is always placed upon safety! All programs are balanced
to accommodate both the horses' and the riders' experience levels. At no time is
either the rider or the horse allowed to perform an unsafe task or any maneuver
that is above either the horse or rider's current training/experience level.

The Hunter Barn is nestled in the foothills between Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido,
Olivenhain, La Costa and Encinitas.
The ranch is not located along any streets and is very quiet at all times -- it
is an ideal place for starting colts. Direct access to miles of county maintained
trail systems are available from the property.
